We have renewed "BugHunter Daudio BDA-6" microphone and eavesdropping device jammer by increasing its power and energy efficiency at the same time. The device is designed as a compact portable suitcase, which is easy to carry and deploy at any place where business negotiations are held. The device is equipped with 48 high-power US transducers for suppressing eavesdropping devices with ultrasonic interference, and is capable of generating speech-like interference, which can suppress all types of voice recording devices, including the latest equipment with artificial intelligence.

BugHunter DAudio BDA-6 suppresses voice recording by:

• radio microphones;
• wired microphones;
• most of professional digital voice recorders;
• smartphone voice recorders (including highly protected IP65-68 smartphones with water resistance and noise canceling);
• photo and video camera microphones;
• hidden eavesdropping devices mounted in the walls;
• laser vibrometers;
• AI devices with noise filters.

Unlike similar devices, BDA-6 can suppress several devices at the same time, even if they are located in different places and have built-in noise filters.

The device has two remote controls to command operation at a distance of up to 30 m (98 ft). The device is both stationary and portable, powered by 110/220V mains or a battery. Powered from the battery, BDA-6 produces the same maximum power as if it ran from electrical mains.

Key features

• Upgrade — the power of ultrasound is increased by 15% while energy consumption is reduced by 150%. In spite of the reduction from 100 US transducers to 48, the overall ultrasonic power output has increased because the new transducers produce a higher peak value of 128 dB* instead of 121 dB as previously. At the same time the power consumption is reduced 1.5 times which greatly impacted the autonomy of the device.

* Remark — a decibel is a logarithmic unit, when ultrasonic power is increased by 1 dB, the real sound output increases much stronger. For example, if 100 dB equals 100 conditional units of power, 101 dB will equal approximately 116 units.

• 2 types of ultrasonic interference with simultaneous use of several frequencies + speech-like interference (white noise mode). BugHunter DAudio BDA-6 features a brand new ultrasonic generation system. Ultrasonic emission changes dynamically within 1 second, while several frequencies from 20 to 40 kHz are used simultaneously. This feature helps to suppress recording by the majority of spy devices. Speech-like interference emission can be used to protect the area from laser microphones**. Utilizing both ultrasonic and speech-like interference provides the most efficient protection from eavesdropping.

** The conversation area should not exceed 45 m² (484 ft²).

BugHunter DAudio BDA-6 is absolutely harmless to humans. In contrast to competitive devices which can cause dizziness, headache and vomiting, our device doesn’t affect people’s health***.

*** Ultrasonic pressure level may exceed safe levels at 1 m (3.3 ft) distance and less from an operating device and cause a health threat. Avoid being in close proximity to an operating device for a long period.

Operating principle

Charge the battery or plug the power adapter to 110/220V mains. The front panel of the device should be pointed at the possible eavesdropping device’s (voice recorder, microphone, spy bug, etc) location, for example, at your clients, visitors, negotiating table, etc.

Push the power button on the device to turn it on. Then turn on the power button on the remote control, the device will start working in the preset mode. You can select out of two modes using the remote control. The selected mode and battery charge level are indicated with LEDs on the device’s housing.

1. The most efficient mode utilizes both ultrasonic and speech-like interference. The device creates audible "claps" and protects from eavesdropping through windows.

2. Silent mode. The mode is suitable for suppressing voice recorders in close proximity (the distance between BDA-6 and eavesdropping devices is less than 3 m (10 ft). The device generates inaudible ultrasonic interference only.

The device can be put in any place or moved during negotiations. In case you notice any signs of eavesdropping, point the device with the side of the transducers in that direction. Staying behind the device will significantly improve protection — when the device is located between the recording device and the speaking person, whose speech is to be protected, it mixes with the voice more thoroughly.
